Inhabiting Mars
Every great thing that has ever been accomplished has come from risk. In keeping with that tradition, going to Mars will come with risks, but will also contribute to population growth, giving room to expand the population, and to the development of ideas that will provide new inventions and further development of society.
The colonization of Mars poses many risks to the astronauts that pioneer the journey, but those risks will be outweighed by the rewards garnered that could contribute to the development and growth of society.
Though risky, inhabiting Mars would be beneficial to society. The many health risks to the beginning pioneers are being studied and procedures developed to mitigate them. Outweighing the health risks are benefits of expansion and growth of population. There are many monetary rewards as well.
